What the check tells you
More than a simple yes.
Try every allowed direction. Rotate a rectangular item through its unique orientations, or keep its entered height vertical.
Understand the space. Read the total room left along the box’s length, width and height after the gap is included.
Find the snugger option. Fitting boxes appear with the least spare volume first. A box that fails shows its specific shortfall.

Can I pack several items together?
Yes. Create an order with up to 12 rectangular pieces. The planner tries allowed rotations and shows a non-overlapping placement when it finds one. For irregular items, enter the dimensions of a rectangular envelope that fully contains each item. A “not confirmed” result does not prove no arrangement exists.
Are shipping prices live?
No. Add your own tariffs for the service and destination you use. The estimate combines packaging cost and the configured base and per-started-kilogram rate. It compares actual and volumetric weight, but excludes taxes, surcharges and other carrier restrictions.
Can I reuse product details?
Yes. Save product measurements, weight, protection and upright preference in Orders → Saved products, then add the profile to a new order. The catalog stays on this device or browser and is included in an exported backup.
How do I import orders?
Use Import order CSV for a prepared file. Required columns are order_id,item_name,length,width,height,quantity; optional columns are weight_g,padding,upright. On Android, AI Scan order sheet can suggest item rows from a photo of printed dimensions. Review the editable draft before adding it to the queue.
How does BoxLoop recommend a box?
It highlights confirmed fits by your configured cost estimate, unused inside space or available stock. A physical packing check is still required before an order is marked packed. History reports recorded uses and estimate snapshots, not a guaranteed saving.
Does BoxLoop make a parcel safe to ship?
No. It helps with rectangular geometry and cost estimates. You must still inspect box strength and condition, cushioning, closure, weight and carrier acceptance before dispatch.
What happens to my collection?
It stays in local app storage or this browser’s storage. Export a backup before clearing browser data, changing devices or uninstalling. There is no account or automatic cloud sync.
Does AI Scan measure a box from a photo?
No. On Android it reads printed measurements and suggests them for review. You choose whether a size is inside or outside; when a label is missing, measure the box yourself. Batch scanning reviews each label separately. Optional AI photo notes describe visible content, not physical dimensions or condition.
How can I use BoxLoop now?
Open the web app and start with your own boxes. The site also shows real Android screens of the core collection and Quick Fit flow.
